The ULINZI WALK raises awareness about Breast Cancer, and educate the public about its symptoms, risk factors, prevention, and the critical importance of early detection.

Since 2017, the Ulinzi Annual Awareness Walk has been

a national symbol of hope, strength, and unity in the fight against breast cancer. Organized by BCIEA, it pioneered public breast cancer awareness in Rwanda. This year marks our 6th official walk, as we continue to bring together survivors, families, health professionals, and community leaders to raise awareness, promote early detection, and support survivors

We are bringing ULINZI WALK to the World and the DIaspora this year. This will mark the first ever
Live-Streamed Breast Cancer Walk in Africa and we are proud to put Rwanda’s Breast Cancer Awareness effort on the MAP!

The ULINZI WALK starts at Green Hills Academy on the morning of Nov 1st and goes to BK Arena and back to Green Hills Academy.

Team Competition

This year teams will compete in a timed walk/race as part of the annual Breast Cancer Walk. The competition is positioned as an elite, high-visibility event within the walk, with cumulative team times determining 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
